If your dates are not very soft, please soak them in hot water for 10 minutes.
In your food processor puree the dates.
Add the vanilla, cinnamon, salt, orange zest, protein powder, seed butter and water to the dates. Puree until combined.
Add the Seed and Fruit Mix, gluten-free oats and mini chocolate chips and puree to fully combine all the ingredients.
Roll mixture into 1-inch balls. (I like to use a cookie scoop) Place the balls on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet or plastic container.
In a glass measuring cup microwave the mini chocolate chips for 2 minutes, stirring half way through. Add the 1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon to the chocolate sauce and stir.
Using a spoon drizzle chocolate sauce over bites and sprinkle with orange zest (optional).
Place the cookie sheet in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Transfer bites into a plastic storage bag and keep in the refrigerator or freezer.
Try not to eat them all. Enjoy!
