Moroccan Chicken is a savory dish made with an aromatic blend of cinnamon, cumin, turmeric, garlic, paprika, and lemon. Chicken thighs are smothered in an exotic sauce with garbanzo beans, lentils, onions, and raisins.
Cook chicken thighs until they are crispy on both sides. Remove and transfer to another plate.
Add the sweet onion and garlic and saute in the oil for 5 minutes.
Add the turmeric, cumin, cinnamon and lemon zest and stir until fully combined.
Add chicken broth, honey and gluten-free flour and stir until fully combined.
Return the chicken thighs back to the pan, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove lid and add the Path of Life Garbanzos and Lentils and raisins. Stir to combine in the sauce.
Cook for an additional 15-20 minutes uncovered.
Prepare Path of Life Organic Quinoa and Brown Rice according to the package.
Garnish with fresh cilantro or lemon.
