Brown Butter Steak
Take your steak to the next level with this simple technique of cooking them in a savory brown butter sauce.

- 1 6 oz Your choice of steak meat
- 1 tablespoon olive oil per steak
- 1 tablespoon of butter per steak
- 1 teaspoon of sage per steak
- salt I use pink Himalayan sea salt
Cover the steaks on both sides with salt.
Allow steaks to come to room temperature.
In a small saute pan heat the olive oil over hight heat. Oil needs to be really hot to make a perfect crust.
Place steak in the pan and cook over high heat for 3 minutes.
Turn steak over and add butter and sage.
Spoon butter and sage over steak as it cooks for 3 more minutes.
Remove steak from the pan and allow it to rest before serving.
You can use a larger pan and cook several steaks at one time.
