Easy Chocolate Covered Pretzels

I am always looking for fun new treats to make with my kids during the holidays. When we go grocery shopping my kids enjoy going down the seasonal aisle and looking at all of the new holiday treats.

While looking at the new holiday chocolate candies, I noticed a recipe on the back of the holiday Rollo’s bag. It was for Rollos candy melted over pretzels and topped with pecans.

I thought it was brilliant! A new take on turtles candy. I’m all about chocolate covered pretzels and the addition of caramel just takes it to another level of yumminess. So we picked up a couple of bags of Rollos and gluten-free pretzels.

These were such a fun new gluten-free treat to make with my kids. Quick and super easy.  You can get creative as you want with them. If you are not a big fan of pecans, no worries, try sprinkles instead (my kids favorite).

Gluten-free chocolate caramel pretzel bites are a perfect treat for holiday parties or as a homemade Christmas gift for family and friends. But I warn you these little babies are super addictive, so you just might want to make a double batch.

  1. Hi Audrey,
Happy Thanksgiving! These delicious simple treats as well as your Better than Banana Bread cookies were hits with my family today. They were happy I’d brought more of both types to leave with them. I appreciated the ease of making these as I was running out of time, trying to watch the Parade and getting treats made. Thanks again .

    1. Hi Jennifer! I use the Walmart brand sprinkles. Just make sure you check the labels. Walmart is really good about listing their allergens on their labels. Thank you so much for the 5-star recipe rating!
